The International Council is composed of distinguished members, independent of the institution’s staff and donors.
Its main functions include: approving and evaluating the implementation of the organizational strategy and program; the achievement of objectives and the evaluation of results and impact; ensuring the quality of policies, procedures and products; taking care of finances, management and audit procedures; reviewing the annual budget, financial and external audit reports; and appointing new Board members.
