Economist with a master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Paris I – Sorbonne and specialist in Economic Policy and Regulation from the same university..

She is a member of the Board of Directors of Banco de la República de Colombia, a career professor at Universidad del Rosario and professor at Universidad Nacional, Universidad Andes and Universidad Externado de Colombia. Previously, she was director of the Colombia office of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).

She has carried out national and international studies and publications on reforms in the social sectors and on the social protection system in Colombia.

In addition to her professional career, she has been included in the list of powerful women in 2024 and 2025 by Forbes Colombia.
