Lessons learned from Latin America and the Caribbean for the sustainable and inclusive transformation of agrifood systems

About the project

The initiative, which is part of the activities carried out by the Networks for Agri-Food Transformation project and is financially supported by IDRC Canada, seeks to establish a set of lessons learned and strategies to promote more sustainable, inclusive and resilient agri-food systems in Latin America. It also seeks to promote south-south learning to inform similar processes in Africa and Asia, based on experiences and lessons learned in the region. The specific objectives of the project include the mapping of initiatives, evidence and actors related to agroecology in the region, as well as the recommendation of research themes and the identification of entry points to promote a research agenda in the area.
