About the project

The objective of this project is to develop the Development Plan for Extreme Zones (PDZE) of the Palena Province of the Province of Palena and the Commune of Cochamó, Los Lagos Region (Chile). To this end,a diagnostic study, citizen participation activities and a portfolio of projected investments that are relevant to the formulation of the PDZE will be prepared, commissioned by the Subsecretariat of Regional Development (Subdere)..

A Development Plan for Extreme Zones (PEZE) is a guidance and investment instrument based on a diagnosis and a baseline that defines objectives, goals and results that seek to remedy or resolve the prioritized gaps and whose central purpose is to promote and enhance development and equity in the territories. Derived from the above, it includes a set of investment initiatives, articulated and complementary to each other; and indicators that allow monitoring and evaluating their progress and the achievement of their goals and results.
