The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization directs international activities oriented towards eradicating hunger. By providing services to both developed and developing nations, the FAO acts as a neutral forum in which all countries come together on equal footing to negotiate agreements and discuss policy. The organization helps developing nations and countries in transition to modernize and improve their agricultural, forestry and fishing activities in order to ensure proper nutrition for all.
